Workshops & Events
Beyond our regular classes, we offer workshops and special events designed to deepen your practice and explore specific aspects of yoga that can't be fully covered in a standard class. These range from intensive single-day workshops to multi-day retreats, covering everything from advanced physical practice to subtle energy work to yoga philosophy.
Spring Equinox Immersion
Duration: 3 days
Investment: £285 (includes all sessions, materials, and closing ceremony meal)
The spring equinox marks a time of balance and renewal, making it the perfect occasion for deep practice. This immersion combines intensive asana practice with pranayama, meditation, and yogic philosophy discussions. We'll explore the concept of balance not as a static state but as dynamic equilibrium - how to find steadiness in movement, both on the mat and in life.
Led by Lysandria Corventhia, the weekend includes morning practice sessions, afternoon workshops on specific techniques, and evening gatherings for reflection and discussion. We close with a ceremonial meal featuring Ayurvedic principles. No prior workshop experience required, but you should have a regular practice foundation.
Advanced Pranayama Workshop
Duration: Single day intensive
Investment: £97 per person
Breathing is the bridge between body and mind, yet most people never learn to harness its full potential. This workshop with Zephyrine Valdis goes beyond basic breath awareness into advanced pranayama techniques that can induce profound shifts in consciousness and nervous system regulation.
You'll learn specific breathing patterns used by Tibetan monks, explore the relationship between breath and emotional states, and experience practices that border on psychedelic without any substances. Previous students describe this as one of the most powerful experiences they've had. This is not for complete beginners - you should have experience with basic pranayama and be comfortable sitting still for extended periods.
Yoga Philosophy Discussion Series
Format: Monthly evening gatherings
Investment: £23 per session or free for unlimited members
The physical practice of yoga is just one part of a much larger philosophical system. In these informal evening gatherings, we read and discuss classical yoga texts - the Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, Hatha Yoga Pradipika - and explore their relevance to modern life. No prior knowledge required, just curiosity and willingness to engage with ideas.
These sessions are conversational rather than lecture-style. We sit in a circle, read passages together, and discuss what they mean to us. Some people attend for intellectual stimulation, others for spiritual deepening. Either approach is welcome. Light refreshments provided.
Teacher Training Programme
Duration: 6 months, weekend format
Investment: £3,450 (payment plans available)
Our 200-hour Yoga Alliance certified training is for people who want to teach yoga properly, not as a weekend hobby but as a serious practice. The programme covers asana, anatomy, philosophy, teaching methodology, and business basics. But more importantly, it's about deepening your own practice to a level where you can guide others safely and authentically.
We're selective about who we accept. This isn't a certification mill. You need at least two years of consistent practice and genuine dedication to the path. If you're just looking for a credential to add to your resume, this probably isn't the right programme. If you're called to share yoga with others and willing to put in the work, we should talk.
Registration Information
Workshop spaces are limited to maintain quality of instruction and intimate group dynamics. We typically cap workshops at 12-15 participants. Registration opens 8 weeks in advance and often fills quickly, especially for workshops with Zephyrine.
All workshops require pre-registration and prepayment. We offer a full refund if you cancel at least 14 days before the event. After that, we can offer credit toward future workshops or allow you to transfer your spot to someone else, but we can't provide refunds since we've already committed resources based on your registration.
To register or learn more: Call us at +44 3196 800620 or visit the studio in person. We're happy to discuss which workshops might be right for your current practice level.
